Post Body

Hi guys!

A few months ago I was added as a mod for this sub after I reached out to the current non-active mods.

This is my first time being a mod, and so I wanted to reach out to ya'll to see what you want to see happen with this sub.

Personally, the reason I reached out was that I saw a large influx of racism, sexism, and overall Daily Mail style comments and posts on this sub and I just felt like the sub could be so much better.

In my mind, there are a few things I would like to do.

  1. Create a set of rules like the majority of subs have. This will make it clear what the community wants this sub to be like. It will also make reports more clear. Sometime things will be reported and I don't know why they were reported.
  2. Start making weekly threads and special occasion threads.
  3. Have actual discussions and not just gossip type article posts. I think most of us can agree that places like Daily Mail, the Sun, and other tabloid style sources are never good.

If you have any questions about me, this sub, or recommendations on how we should set this all, please leave a comment :)
