Just had an experience with RC that left a bad taste. I was on yesterday and mocked up a cruise. 7 days from NJ Orlando, bahamas etc. I got to the point right before you put in who’s traveling with you and I stopped because I had to leave the house for a party. Decided I’d pick it up today. The total price was $5845. Pretty decent for a 7 day in June. I go back today, nothing was saved so I had to start over. Same cruise, same exact rooms. $7767. Mind you, there was still 6 hours left on the 30% off sale so I know I didn’t miss out on the sale price and was just getting the normal rate. I call RC and the best they can say is that because of demand the price of the rooms fluctuate. I’ve dealt with this before with buying concert tickets but never with a cruise. The difference in price less than 24 hours is $2k. I’ll still book with royal, just letting everyone know that this can happen. I guess the lesson is, when you see a decent price, book it!
