Planning a trip for January on Odyssey but will have to work. My job consists of doing phone consults. I will need to be able to make regular phone calls. I can’t use WhatsApp as I work for a government agency.

I was told I can only use wifi calling if the other person is connected to wifi as well. Is this true?

Should I be ok to make calls as usual if I buy the internet package?

It is a very last minute trip for my MIL who just got news she’s in remission from cancer. I started a new job a month ago and they are being very generous in allowing me to go if I can work part of the trip.
