Just got back from our cruise last week and wanted to put this out there. We were at Chill Beach (I think) enjoying the beach and swimming in the water until we realized that there were hundreds of jellyfish on the ocean floor under our feet. We asked a lifeguard about it and he said that if you do get stung, itβs not too bad. Some of the kids in my group got stung and some other people around us. It was painful (like a stinging rash), but not debilitating. It felt better after a few hours. We swam in the pool the rest of the day.
I would recommend wearing water shoes if you want to swim in the ocean! The water was warm and very clear, so you could see the jellyfish, but there were so many it was hard to avoid.
We also saw a few stingrays swimming around which were fun to see and seemed harmless, but they did freak people out.

Iβm so jealous π we only saw sting rays. Was still cool af. Apparently we just missed a 5ft shark by a few minutes. π
