Do I let rosin jam cool before whipping initially?

Post Body

Hey all. I’m in the process of my first attempt at making jam/sauce. I followed the instructions and heated it in the oven. it’s been in its liquid form for about 5 days wrapped in a seedling heating pad now. Color is getting more amber as it’s been curing in the jar.

I plan on maybe taking it out the pad today and finally opening it. I know once I open it I can’t go back to the heat curing process or anything, so do I need to let it cool first before stirring/whipping? The final instructions are unclear on that.
