Trouble with the switch port of risk of rain 2

So I booted up the game and got to the main menu, and I wanted to change the volume of the sound effects. This doesn't sound bad, but whenever you change certain settings in the game like check boxes, the game will automatically crash. I know this isn't a problem in the PC version by the way.

Well that sucks knowing Iām not the only one with the background music bug, really sucks cuz it really gets me in the zone while playing
