Income and life insurance in NZ

Hi Ropies, been looking at life insurance and have found that not a lot of insurance companies in New Zealand cover a rope access tech. If you have life insurance, who do you go through and does it cost you your left testicle to get?
Also found absolutely no one will do income protection due to us being high risk 😂
