Gavin's use of "quid" explained.

As it turns out, Gav's use of quid isn't as stupid as is sounds, nor is it some sort of British lingo. Actually "quid" is a shortened form of the latin saying "quid pro quo" which basically means to trade. So Gavin is actually speaking latin when he says "I'll give you quid for it" or whatever.
