How do I deal with a passive aggressive roommate who won’t ever tell me his actual problems?
Post Body

I’m in a house with 4 guys, we all have our own room and lately have been keeping to ourselves due to school. We all used to be really chill and everything worked. So I went to an extra course for a few weeks and the guys went through my room without me knowing, found some private stuff, and I didn’t know until months later. Where we have my first encounter with my roommate making snide remarks eluding to the stuff in my room with another roommate. It was not a nice couple days, friend killed homeless and I talked with him the night before about it and then that shit happened.

But we carried on. Still went out drinking and having fun, but lately it’s gotten bad. Landlord and I have been out of school while the other two have been in and the house one day suddenly collapsed. I never went downstairs during this time except to leave to a friends house and the dishes piled up bad. This prompted the other guy to set a house meeting, we took care of it. Problem roommate was being very out of it though. Pretty bitchy during it.

And in public forums for the last two weeks he’s been criticizing our parking situation, to the point he indirectly called me and the landlord out in a professional forum. Texted the landlord about it and he’s at a loss for words. This Roomate for the last week hasn’t said a single word to us, just has been a very cold and distant person and it’s fucking scary. Dudes married with 2 kids, is cheating on his spouse with what was supposed to just be a side piece but has gotten actually serious it seems, has a tonne of firearms, has almost shot our neighbor, frankly is just unhinged as fuck and loves to gossip and make himself out to be holier than thou in our career field we’re all in. How the fuck do I deal with this shit while also protecting my career?
