I finally just received firmware 3.0 after many months of being stuck on 1.6.6 and the no-go feature was obviously the most anticipated feature.
Previously My roomba had a lot of issues getting stuck under some side tables and bar stool (no fault of the roomba, just very oddly shaped feet). I placed the no-go zones as best as I could guesstimate where these areas are.
First off, the no-go zones definitely work. The roomba's blue light will blink as it approaches the zone just like it does with virtual wall. However, I do find that overall, the roomba is giving the no-go zones a very wide berth. Probabaly just under a foot from what I can estimate the the edge. I tried to make the zones tighter and tighter but then the roomba seemed to venture into the zones once in a while.
Anyone else noticed this? Any tips to get more accurate and tighter no-go zones?
