Edge brush not working even after replacing motor

I have a roomba 675. The edge brush stops working, so after doing some research I replaced the motor for it. It still does not work. I then tested the original motor with I 9volt battery and it worked fine, leading me to believe there’s an issue with the roomba main board itself. Before I get into disassembling it, does anyone have any ideas or recommendations as to what I should be looking for?
