So I landed in Rome and used an ATM inside the airport
no problem
I used one outside ( right outside) and immediately my card was charged close to its maximum balance. I got a text from my bank and canceled the transaction
Last night, same thing using an ATM on the street
Today, I went inside a bank, no problem
be aware, there's a large chance of skimmers ( 100% in my experience)
