Are most places on the standard euro socket?

Ok I've been to Italy a hundred times .. But generally to campsites and modern apartments.. Reading that 'most places' have standard euro type C/F sockets but 'some places' still have the type L - 3 pins in straight line.
Are most places on the euro plug now? Are the type L pretty much gone? Hoping most of my Swiss two pins will be fine like they are across most of Europe? Much chance of needing a type L ?
