Just finished watching the season finale omg I have sooo many thoughts I’ll try to break my feelings down

• let’s start with that major bomb at the end of the episode. Wow so Charlie and Val made it. That’s really sweet. Ngl I was kinda into her and drew (I just love drew he’s like my perfect guy) but I also appreciate that she and Charlie get their happy ending, at least that’s the way it looks so far. We don’t have to deal with the same issue as the red Robin of it all. That being said, having one couple already kinda confirmed to end up together (assuming they’re together which is how I interpreted it) makes me really scared that Sophie and Jesse have no shot at hea. I just don’t think that both og couples are going to end up together, hoping im wrong though.

• Sophie and Jesse. That rain kiss was everything. Like a rain kiss will always do it for me ugh that was so good. But something tells me it’s not gonna end with them together. It feel’s pretty early on in this show. Assuming it lasts a few more (I don’t know if in the age of streaming it can last 9 seasons, but I’d assume 5-6 at least) they’re obviously gonna break up sometime next season. They could either break up and just put and end to it, but let’s be real most likely they’re gonna drag this out very long. It’s probably gonna be off and on and we’re gonna have to deal with Ted-Robin-Barney 2.0. Which brings us to my next point…who is Barney 2.0

• after the way Sid’s story went down, I’m feeling pretty confident something with him and Sophie is going to happen, especially when Hannah was like “was it sophie?” Like that felt major foreshadowy to me and yeah I feel like that’s the direction this is heading in. Right now my mind is drawing parallels to Dawson’s creek season 3. I kinda wish that wasn’t the direction they wen’t in, and I would have liked to explore Sid and Hannah coming back from this, but I also understand the show needs drama lol.

• at this point I’m feeling like sid and Sophie are going to end up together, who knows but that’s my suspicion. I would be curious to see if they ever did something where like the father was not the husband, but I can’t recall if it was confirmed if Sophie and the father are still together, I think it was. Bit yeah I just have a feeling this show is gonna break my Sophie-Jesse shilling heart, but maybe I’m wrong.
