Looking for recommendations on places to go ice skating in a large, natural outdoor area like a frozen lake or pond nearest to Rome AND best places even if they are further away. I have my own skates, so I don't need it to be a rental space.
Preferably reachable by public transportation and pedestrian friendly paths of some kind (I will hike for hours, but I'd prefer not to hike on a highway)
*I'm also interested in inner city recommendations for larger rinks than the one in EUR.
Edit: nearest as in I'm looking at Switzerland otherwise and am used to driving 20 hours to the nearest icy place haha just trying to stay in Italy!
