I was browsing one of the other coaster forums and found a thread about new Little A-Merrick-A coaster ideas by a person alleging to be an employee. The behind-the-scenes photos were convincing enough for me, it's definitely someone with behind the scenes LAMA access.
To summarize, the park had purchased the Lincoln Park Comet trains and Whalom Park Comet chain lift with the long term plan of building a new in-house wooden coaster. The requirements being that it be fit for families (from junior to grandma) and that it be achievable on a shoestring budget. Something in the range of 50-60 feet tall.
Originally looking for a pre-existing design to clone, that idea evolved until in June of this year there was a NoLimits 2 design concept posted. It's something of a combination between Stricker's Grove Tornado and the park's existing Meteor, utilizing some design templates from Meteor.
What do you think of the concept? Do you think it'll get built? Do you think the source is legit?
