Superman at SFMM hits 85dB and another PSA

u/Bluetree4 asked a few days ago here about the noise Superman: Escape from Krypton makes. I downloaded a sound level meter on my phone for my visit on Wednesday. Standing on the path directly under the tower, it maxed out at 85dB. But it's a phone app, so of course it could be off.
Also, Apocalypse was closed :/ Some ride ops said it's only currently open during fright fest, but that it may be open more regularly in October. I hope it's open next time I go!
