Just figured out I've ridden exactly half of the coasters in California, now I'm thinking about setting a goal for myself...

Post Body

According to my calculations, I've ridden at least 45 of the 90 roller coasters in CA (93 total including ones set to be finished next year). The 45 excludes some kid rides at Magic Mountain and Knott's that I'm pretty sure I have ridden, but I'm not positive. Can't remember that far back. I'd have to ride them again to make sure.

But it got me thinking, how possible would it be to set myself a goal to ride all the coasters in CA by 2020? This coming year I'm probably getting a Knott's pass so then going up north for GCA (Trailblazer), Giant Dipper, etc wouldn't be too hard. But at the same time, there's a lot of random little kid's coasters spread around. How possible even is this idea?

I'm just rambling, really, but part of me is really optimistic. It may be possible.

PS - just found out about this alpine coaster at Lake Tahoe - I've always wanted to go on an alpine coaster and it looks beautiful!
