I haven't gone on a roller coaster since I had a bad bout of depression and put on a lot of weight... haven't been on a roller coaster since early summer 2013 when I was somewhere between 280 and 350. I got up to 380 lbs at one point, but now I'm down to about 320. I'm 6'1. Anyway, I know information about me is meaningless because body shapes are so varied. What I was wondering about was the size of the seats on PTC trains. Specifically, I'm curious about 3 bench/6 seater cars, with dividers and headrests, with buzz bars. I'm talking about the Yankee Cannonball, if it can vary even between rides with 6 seater trains.
I read on some random blog that each seat was 15" across(ie, you would need to be under 15 inches from extreme right hip to extreme left hip to fit) but I have no source for this. Does anyone have any better information? Anything that could help. Seat width on other PTC trains, your waist when you were a tight fit but acceptable, your waist when you were denied, etc.
I'm not worried about the restraint locking, I'm just worried about whether or not I will be able to sit down(and potentially if I can get the seat belt to close. But I don't think the seatbelt is that restrictive on the Yankee Cannonball, at least as of the last time I rode in 2012 or so?)
