Freedom City is a sprawling city filled with people at the mercy of Super Criminals, corrupt civil servants, and even more nefarious threats buried beneath conspiracy and secrecy. It’s up to you and your fellow team of heroes to protect this great city, fighting for truth, justice, and a better tomorrow!

In this game of Mutants and Masterminds Third Edition, you will slip into the spandex of an incredible hero of your making and defending your home while trying to balance your home life and a normal life (if you have one). With a power level of 10 you are powerful and heroes who can hold a city with the help of your super friends! Featuring an ensemble cast of villains to face and friends to make, there’s always something fun in each “issue”!

Now for what I want from you. I want some fun players who love superheroes and will want to play into the genre and its tropes! First things first, you’re a superhero, not an antihero. Punishers, Deadpools, and Red Hoods are cool but that’s not the vibe for this game’s main team. When you message me, give an idea of what you want to play, your ideas, and your enthusiasm for the game. Sell yourself to me as someone who’s going to be fun to run a game for! When making a concept and character, remember to give them fun flaws and interesting complications.

This game isn’t like war game TTRPGs where your objective is to slaughter enemies in tactical combat. In this game, saving the day, as in saving as many people as possible, is more important than catching the bad guy. Most enemies you face you won’t be killing, though there may be exceptions at certain points, it should be a big deal to permanently put someone down.

Character creation mechanically can be daunting, but it’s a team effort! Feel free to ask questions or help on ideas and concepts!
