Hey everyone, during this whole lockdown and stuff, I’ve seen a lot of people turning to games like D&D as a creative outlet. With that being said, I’d like to offer my services as a DM for a group of people who wish to learn how to play the game.
I’m planning on running a group of 5 players through Lost Mines of Phandelver, an intro story that will take everyone from levels 1-5 by the time it’s all done. The campaign will likely last multiple sessions, as it’s not a short one (not extremely long either). If you're a newer player (or never played before), and you're interested in learning the game with a fun, fair DM send me a private message with the following:
What interests you about D&D (RP opportunities, combat, etc.)?
Do you have any experience playing D&D 5th Edition?
What is your availability like? Can you commit to at least once a week for 2-4 hours at a time?
Do you have any character ideas in mind already (if not, that is OK)?
Once selected, I will invite you to my discord server that myself and my friends use to play D&D (among other games as well). Chosen players will have a session 0 with me to go over basic rules as well as walking you through how to create your character before we begin. Once that group finishes the campaign, I will start again with a new group. My goal is to help individuals who want to explore this creative outlet, but don't have a group to learn with.
EDIT: WOW! I'm thoroughly glad that so many people are interested in learning this fantastic game! Seriously, RIP my inbox but I love it. The current campaign is full, however I will still be inviting people into my discord community to be around like-minded D&D lovers, if you so choose. Once the current one is done, I will then take a new set of players through the adventure as well. If you're still interested, send me a PM with your discord name.
