Hey there! I’ve recently been drawn to the idea of exploring more of one of my favourite tropes—fake dating- in RP form. If you’re into that too, we might be a great match!
The main idea for this RP is that our characters are both celebrities who have hit a rough patch in their careers. To get back into the spotlight, their managers hatch a plan for them to fake date. Despite their initial awkwardness, their carefully orchestrated public appearances start to blur the lines between pretense and reality, leading to the gradual blossoming of a genuine romance.
This RP will focus on the development of their relationship, blending romance with a slice-of-life approach. I’m aiming for a bit of a slow burn, but I’m totally open to skipping over less exciting scenes to keep things engaging. The RP will kick off with our characters meeting for the first time, alongside their managers, to set the stage for this faux relationship.
For my character, she’s an actress and writer who had to step back from the spotlight for a while and is now eager to make a comeback. Your character can be anything that fits into this world of fame (just no NSFW themes).
Writing-wise, I’m looking for at least a decently sized paragraph per reply—no one-liners, please. I RP on Discord and prefer to use character sheets and face claims. While the face claims aren’t mandatory, a character sheet is a must (I can provide a template if needed).
