And Qden was 38 years old and lived alone on the fourth floor of a Manhattan apartment block.

She worked during the day, as a retail store manager and would in the evenings before coming home from work, alone, visit a bar with friends.

Although she had a strong circle of 8 friends in total that were more like family, she couldn’t help but feel an emptiness inside her and a longing for that kindred spirit she could spend nights at home with.

It was on a Tuesday Qden arrived home like normal in the late evening, alone again. Like every other evening, as she opened the forth floor apartment door, with her keys, and walked in as normal, she put her keys on the small table by the door below a mirror where she also placed her bag, she then took a quick look at herself in the mirror. She longed to find that handsome hero to sweep her off her feet and inject some excitement into her life.

After settling her things down and hanging up her coat, Qden walked over to the lounge and turned the TV on for some background noise, as hearing voices helped with the loneliness. A massive fan of history documentaries, the history channel came on in the background which she didn’t really pay much attention too and walked over to the kitchen to prepare herself something to eat.

She opened the fridge and pondered to herself for a short while about what to eat that evening.

Then all of a sudden she is shocked by a small static blast sound which came from the TV. The TV also started to display static interference with the original broadcast still playing in the background and a lot of chaotic static crackling sounds now disrupting the calm ambience of the room.

After unfreezing from the shock the small static blast put her in, Qden realises the sound has come from the TV and calms herself down. She turns around and the focus of her eyes is drawn too the blinking red power light.

She regains focus and reacts by walking over to the lounge where she left the remote and tries to turn the TV off.

What came next is unbelievable by most accounts.

An energy emits from the red power light and the room lights up red. Qden a brave women with the ability to think quickly shields her eyes with her right arm and reassures herself that she can handle anything as her heart pounds and adrenaline rushes through her system.

This lasted for about 10 seconds before there is a small power cut and it goes dark and silent in the apartment for 3 seconds, before everything slowly returns back to normal.

This is all except for the fact that there is now a female dressed in a white tunic dress with a stylish gold belt around her waist and a stylish gold band around her forehead which sat on her nose quite elegantly.

Unfreezing from her shock and coming to her senses Qden’s adrenaline fuelled body jolts in to action and she speaks up to the female figure now in her living room.

“Who an Earth are you and how did you get here?! I can’t believe what I have just witness!”

Says Qden, her voice stern and raised with a slight tremble as she was experiencing extreme fear.

“I’m Goddess Oudwood, I don’t know how I’ve got here”.

Replies Goddess Oudwood.

Who then starts pacing and muttering to herself.

Qden’s mind goes blank.

After about 20secs of Goddess Oudwood pacing and muttering to herself as events like this are not unusual in this little Goddess’s life, she realises that Qden has frozen from shock.

“Are you alright?” Goddess Oudwood asks Qden.

Qden unfreezes from her shock. She feels a warm wave from the Goddess’s voice which made her feel calmer.

She replies…..
