Author’s note: Just want to say this is more along the lines of a dark and gritty story. I will put possible triggers in below, thank you!

Hello all! Hope you’re having a wonderful morning, day, evening or night depending on where you are in the world at the time of reading this post. Today I come forth with an idea I’ve had basically stewing in my head for months. Already have a whole setting in mind, how said scene might start, even a main character ready to go and just waiting to be loved by a creative writer out there. So without further a-do, let me give a full breakdown of what this idea entails, what I’m looking for, and how to best approach it! (There is no best way, just shoot a chat or PM!)

Genre/Sub-Genres: Southern Gothic, Horror, Fiction, Cult-Based nature, Slight Supernatural elements, and Thriller!

Possible Triggers: Death, Violence, Drug and Alcohol abuse, Physical Abuse, Self harm, Harm to others, Blood, Gore and other suggestive themes. (Note these are all pure fiction elements with intent to be played out by fictional characters, I do not support real life crime or abuse.)

Plot Summary: For the plot summary, I actually have a very long and skewed out overall idea of what I want to represent. Though, due to length and fear of boring readers, I will make this as simplistic as possible.

A woman from up north, preferably the big city, sets out on a little road trip through the south to see the beautiful pink azaleas bloom throughout ‘God’s Country’. On said trip, she ends up getting lost, finding herself further and further from the highway, only to hear a familiar voice coming from deep within the woods. It takes her over, eventually finding herself trying to chase down the said voice, only to stumble, fall and eventually knock herself unconscious, hence where the cult comes in and the action really gets underway.

(Again, the idea has much MUCH more detail, I genuinely just want to save all that rambling and such for people who are already interested by what they see!)

Characters:

I personally will be playing as said woman who goes on the road trip and is eventually abducted by the cult, and I’d love to share more info about her character more into planning. I will also probably pick up more characters as we go along as well. As for the interested writers who might message me, just know there are quite literally tons of options for roles. Maybe even you have your own splendid idea for a specific character! I will not control your character creation, as I want them to be of your imagination!
