The early autumn night surrounded a cabin in the woods, its lights and the thumping rhythm of the music from within could be heard for miles around. It was not too rare of an occurrence in this small town, the schools had started in the past week and of course, the local high school kids would gather around in house parties like this! Alex was no exception as he waded through the packed bottom floor of the cabin towards the back deck, music ringing in his ears, mixing together with the other sounds of the party around him. He felt good! Just buzzed enough with alcohol and the party atmosphere without being too drunk. Or well, that’s what he told himself.

Reaching the back entrance of the cabin, he stepped out to the night. Even if it was early in the autumn and the night had the feel of a summer night, the packed state of the indoors made it feel cool and fresh on his skin. Holding a half-finished beer in one hand he walked to the railing, leaning against it and allowing his gaze to linger on the dark forest in front of him. Though a movement in the corner of his eye caught his attention and made him realise that he was not out on the back deck alone, his eyes turning from the forest towards a girl in there, next to him.

And being just buzzed enough to lose some inhibitions, well of course he would initiate conversation suavely as ever. "Heeey..." He began, a hint of this dumb, boyish grin on his face as he turned towards her. Damn, he noted that he did not recognise her but hey, that was not going to slow him down. "Having fun?" He went on, continuing the conversation, approaching her with an easy stride.

TL;DR. 18 stupid hormonal idiots being stupid hormonal idiots in a house party. Story with smut to go with. I'm picturing small town vibes with some bigger story beneath the surface, waiting to be discovered/made up.
