Feedback Friday is an opportunity for developers to get feedback about their game and for roguelike enthusiasts to try out games and give feedback on them. This is the third post in an ongoing series that takes place every two weeks.
A big thanks to /u/ArmouredCommander for signing up with Armoured Commander :)
In Armoured Commander (ArmCom), you are in command of an M4 Sherman Medium tank, part of General Patton's American 4th Armoured Division, which has landed in France as part of the D-Day invasion. You must lead your battlegroup through enemy-held territory, capturing areas and engaging in battles with hostile forces. Since your tank is vastly outgunned and outnumbered by the defending German forces, you must use the same strategies used by historical armoured commanders to survive the campaign, which runs from July 1944 to April 1945.
Along the way, your crew will gain experience and skills, and you will have the opportunity to upgrade to more heavily-armoured and -armed models of tank as they become available. You decide how to proceed, how to deal with enemy resistance, and how to develop your crew so that your tank can survive the campaign and emerge victorious.
Armoured Commander is available for download here. Be sure to checkout the manual too.
