No audio input with Rocksmith cable
Post Body

Wanted to pick up Rocksmith again after not playing it for ~4 years, but I'm having difficulty getting the cable to work. I wiped my computer/refreshed Windows 10 a few months ago, so this is essentially a new machine.

The issue is that, while Windows detects the cable correctly as a Rocksmith cable, it doesn't detect ANY audio from my guitar. I've tried a ton of things:

  • Different cable (I have two)
  • Different instrument (tried bass and guitar... yes volume isn't muted)
  • Different USB ports (including 3.1, 3.0, and 2.0)
  • All the recommended microphone settings I've seen online. It's set to DVD quality, Exclusive mode on, Level is max.

I've been searching around and reading as much as I can, but can't seem to find a fix. Anyone have any other ideas?
