Winter rockhounding sites in the PNW
Post Body

Hi everyone. We are fast approaching winter here in the PNW, and that means that water levels will be high and most gravel beds inundated. There will also be very unpleasant conditions in the high desert as well as ample amounts of snow. So I’m wondering if any of you Oregon and Washington rockhounds know of some good spots to look that are accessible during winter conditions. I am already well aware that the coastal beaches are good during the winter, so I’m wondering if y’all know of any other spots that aren’t snowed in or flooded.
