I have been using my Behmor for years. And I have it pretty well dialed in for roasting the espresso blend I like (Monkey Blend from Sweet Maria's, if you're interested). This summer I was roasting and was getting some nice darker roasts. But now I am roasting, using the same beans and the same roast profile, and my roasts are coming out MUCH lighter. Would the air temperature make much of a difference? Before the temps were 85-90 degrees, whereas now it's maybe 60-70 degrees. Literally nothing else has changed in how I roast.
I'm trying to figure out if it's something wrong with my Behmor, or if I need to adjust for the temperature drop. The change seems pretty dramatic for a 25-30 degree drop in air temps.
