My girlfriend and I are looking at moving to Roanoke around September this year as she is looking to go to college at hollins university. I will not be going to college although I may possibly do it online (wanting to be a PE teacher as a career is there another college around that’s physical that could do that) But nonetheless I will be looking for an apartment and I have been looking on apartments.com. I have really liked “the view at blue ridge commons” as well as “south 16 at the bridges” although I’m not sure if I could afford either of them so I am just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for apartments also if anyone has any insight on those apartments as well. I am also just wondering about the city the area the people the jobs and the vibe of everything. We come from a small town which Roanoke in a way reminds me of just larger.
