Road trip from San Antonio, TX to Los Angeles, CA via I-10 - anything I should know about?

I'll be heading out Saturday morning to LA via I-10. It'll be a 2-day trip each way, with little to no sightseeing - not that there's much to see along this route anyway. I've already booked hotels in Tucson (for the departure trip) and Deming (for the return trip) so I can't really deviate from this plan either way.

I've driven from SA to El Paso numerous times before so I'm familiar with that portion of the trip. I really just want to know what I can expect from El Paso to LA (traffic, road hazards, etc). Any tips or recommendations will be appreciated.
