Freedom of the open road. No schedule, no deadline, no particular path.
It’s a fitting metaphor for my life just now. Recently widowed, long retired, no ongoing commitments. I’m ready to reimagine a new life with no constraints other than listening to what God wants of me.

I’ll be leaving LA in late May. For sure my dog Arya ( 7 yr Brittany) will be along. We are outdoor people and plan to hike and explore the back roads. In the evenings we look to soak our feet. So natural hot springs if possible, or a motel hot tub at least. Neither of us are fond of suits.

I’m nostalgic by nature. I’m likely to turn the wheel in the direction of places I’ve been before that have some still undiscovered meaning. I want to touch those places where I have loved, or been in love, or maybe just lusted.

When you drive a car, there is a passenger seat. I’ve been fortunate to have a been joined by some very accommodating companions. Women of all shapes, sizes and colors, natural ladies, who rock a short sundress and not much else. A submissive woman who would never question my agenda or occasional needs to pull off the road and enjoy each other. A talkative person who is open minded and tells entertaining stories. A woman who has lived and desperate to make more scandalous memories.
