Today I discovered one of my adult Halloween hissers had died. No clue why, she seemed healthy, but when I removed her I noticed that a portion (about half) of her insides had been eaten away at.
I do think she died sometime early yesterday since that's when I first saw her in the spot I found her in. She's in a colony with 4 other adults and a bunch of nymphs.
Could it have been the nymphs that ate her? Would this be normal decomp? Or should I be worried about the possibility of an accidentally introduced predator?
