Theory on the Gargoyle King (SPOILERS)

I believe it is Chic.

Chic's roommate was Betty's brother, who is "dead" (possibly ascended by Chic, or an additional theory that her brother is the Gargoyle King). The second time we meet Chic, he is getting stabbed by a man who could be playing G&G until Betty maces him.

Chic knows where Betty lives, and may want to antagonize them (like we saw this past episode when he came to their house).

The last we see of him is running into the forest. He may have been shot by the Black Hood, but maybe he escaped or was found by the cult.

Just my thoughts.
