New player here, I have a question about the Wandeeing Vagrant boss fight

How the hell do I avoid the supernova attack? It's ended three good runs early and the only way I've found to avoid it is by running the hell away and out of the teleporter's range.

When it drops down low on health, the super nova attack starts. Either tank it, or kill it quickly! That’s pretty much it. Lol
