Been a blazers fan since we drafted dame. Fell in love with the team and this city. Made the flight to Portland in late February/early March to catch the blazers play the pels. Little did I know that my first memory of watching Dame in a blazers uniform live, would potentially be my last.
All I can say is thank you Dame. You made staying up until midnight a joy when you would hit clutch shot after clutch shot. You inspired me on and off the court with actions and words of wisdom. No one will ever forget where your roots lie.
