Revel's End Deserves a Prison Break

C'mon WotC, how do you give us an antarctic prison and NOT have the players break someone out of there?

My idea is very simple - the nature of everything going crazy in Icewind Dale has made all of the people and towns really on edge. Revel's End is getting into a difficult position because they CAN'T run out of resources and let anyone go. They are in total lockdown because the prison has already started to deteriorate in small ways that the prisoners are starting to realize.

The guards are unfed and tired, listless. There have been many failed attempts at running - the problem is, where will you run to? It's -30 out there at least. It's like Alcatraz out there.

I'm going to put the PC's in a position where they must find certain information from the wizard locked in Revel's End, making it clear that they are extremely strict and don't allow face-to-face visiting of any kind. Maybe the wizard is on special lockdown himself.

I think the idea of the PC's coming up with a plan to break out of a magical prison in a tundra is absolutely incredible. They will set up some dogsleds at a marked location maybe, scouting ahead. Sending someone in as a distraction, oh man I can only imagine.

HIGHLY encourage you guys consider putting this is your game, I definitely am!
