i just got to play Sound Voltex Exceed Gear and Chunithm for the very first time today and i absolutely freaking LOVED THEM BOTH. can’t believe it took me this long to finally try titles like these, but then again, i live on Long Island (roughly 1 hour east of NYC) and there is (AFAIK) only ONE single arcade (a Round 1, of course!) on this entire island that has anything besides DDR or PIU 🙄 if there are others and you know where they are, definitely let me know!

i honestly couldn’t believe how easy it was to pick up on how to play both games, but ESPECIALLY SDVX (which i had assumed would have a VERY sharp learning curve)…that all being said, i’m really glad that this Round 1 is within a 20 minute drive from me AND that they price ALL of their games very fairly IMO, especially the rhythm games…i think $33 got me something like 168 credits; both SDVX and Chunithm for example are only 8 credits!

anyway this was just a happiness-fueled rant about how much i enjoyed both games, i just needed to share my excitement with someone and i figured what better place than this sub?! 😆 happy to be here!
