Hi friends. Had my second rheumatology appointment today and he confirmed that I do have seronegative RA and told me to get an eye exam so he could clear me for hydroxychloriquine. He stressed to me that it was very safe, but I’m curious as to how you guys have responded to it? If my understanding is correct, are DMARDS the same as biologicz, or are biologics on a bit of a higher intensity level than DMARDS?
(p.S. after 24 years of being alive I finally got told I needed glasses. Blow to my ego LMAO)
I was on it for three weeks and developed an allergic reaction to it. I can’t take mtx because of my liver. I do start biologics in January but am at a loss. All the steroids I have been taking put on 30 lbs and moon face. I hate myself right now.
