Hello, I was diagnosed 3 years ago with RA and have been able to manage pretty well. Iโm (33F) and moderately active. For about the last 6 months Iโve been dealing with a bunion that has gotten progressively worse-as RA bunions do.
Orthopedic Surgeon said I could keep toughing it out or get surgery. The reoccurrence would be a 0% chance since he would be fusing the joint. The recovery time (6 weeks in a boot) plus additional time is a little nerve wracking. I know itโs not a huge deal but just curious if anyone has had this procedure and/or any advice.
Thanks!
