RA therapies without hair loss side effect

Hi RAers. I'm a newly diagnosed guy who has been using a common Rx therapy for hairloss for years. Now I'm on MTX and I understand it might be exacerbating that issue. When I brought up it up to my dr she suggested upping my folic acid dose to 4mg/day. She has also talked about switching me to an infusion that will cover me for 6 months at a time (I can't remember the name). I'd like to ask any BTDTs for your thoughts. Thanks!
