I have the Nacon Revolution Pro 5 which has its own PC app for updating the controller and adjusting controller settings, etc. When I first got the controller, I immediately checked the Revolution app for updates, fiddled with some settings for my profiles and such with no problems. The next time I tried to check for updates, the Revolution app would not recognize my controller. I realized that the difference is ReWASD. I had downloaded it and eventually purchased a key because I love it and because other remapping software I was used to wasnt recognizing my controller yet for Gyro as the Revolution Pro 5 had just released. Example, Steam input recognized my controller as an Xbox controller, not as a PS4/PS5 controller. I adjusted every setting I could in ReWASD related to how it runs in the background and my Revolution app would still not recognize my controller. Only upon uninstalling ReWASD was I able to finally get back into the Revolution PC app. Now that Steam input recognizes my controller as PS4/PS5 and the gyro works, Im not 100% sure Im keen to uninstall/reinstall ReWASD every time I want to check for an update to my controller. I do still love it and think it does some things better than Steam (the custom acceleration curve for one) so Im hoping providing this feedback might help in sorting out why ReWASD interferes with this, even with background/overlay settings disabled. (Im not sure what they were called now that its uninstalled I cant see but I tried every setting related to how ReWASD operates in the background even when the dashboard was "powered off")
