Hi everyone,
I've added some new flairs. I felt the old "For review" flair was a bit redundant as people wouldn't be posting their books unless they were offering it for review.
Instead, I decided to take advantage of the filtering functionality of flairs and introduce genre flair.
At the moment, there are thirteen nineteen broad genre flairs, but I'll be adding more as we go.
I've gone through and retagged existing submissions with the flair I thought was most appropriate. If I've changed yours, and you think another would be more fitting, feel free to change it.
For future submissions, choose the flair with the most appropriate broad genre, and include one more specific genre in square brackets like before.
If you have any suggestions as to any more to add, let me know by posting here or sending me a message via PM or ModMail.
Cheers,
Jim
EDIT: Oh, and don't worry too much about the icons. They're not meant to be entirely descriptive, just a little visual tag. Example, the UFO icon for Sci-Fi doesn't rule out stories about robots. Use the actual genre name as the guideline to use.
EDIT 2: Right, there appears to be some confusion with flair and tags. You don't have to use the same tag - the genre in square brackets - as the main genre flair.
For instance if you had a zombie horror book, you would use the Horror flair, and your title would look like:
[Zombies] My book title by Dave Author
That way, your book would show up when filtered for horror, and readers can see at a glance that it's about zombies.
