Best PS2 settings for Retroid Pocket Flip?

So I’m not a novice yet not an expert with retro gaming. I have a steam deck but not going to use that yet since I enjoy the more pocket friendly flip device.

So far I found Dreamcast/N64 emulation is the most stable and runs smoothly on the flip.

PS2 games do not run well so far on the flip..Is this a settings issue with the emulation or is it more of a power issue from the flip device?

Any help in this matter is appreciated. Forgive me if I sound naive I’m still learning.

PS I love this device despite its shortcomings.
