To FAQ or not to FAQ, that is the question.
So how many of you guys consult a walkthrough, and how many like to go RAMBO and finish
retro games themselves?
I came across a JRPG called "Chaos Seed" [seed(s)?] for the SNES recently, and I was overwhelmed by the complexity of its cave-building mechanics that I almost stopped playing. At this point I could've: A) consulted a walkthrough to learn more about the game and to at least know what I was doing and make progress or B) Kept playing and learn via the in game tutorial (which is really not bad considering that the English translation is quite superb)
I did "B" and I am happy with it.
Anyone else on the same boat, or would you rather, as far as retro games are concerned, know every nook and cranny even before starting a new game?
