Simons Quest, is it worth playing?

Hey everyone, so I recently decided to play through the Castlevania NES trilogy. I beat the first game this weekend after realizing how hard it really was (20 years since I've played it) and am about to play Simon's Quest, the thing is though, I've never played it. As a kid I only had the first and Dracula's Curse. I've heard it's not only terrible but also extremely crytpic and hard to understand at many times from AVGN as well as many friends from way back in the day. So I have to ask. Is it worth even playing?
