So we have been having some issues with the nes not wanting to work sometimes which apparently is a connection issue I guess. I saw a couple articles online that said game genie could help so I looked online… $60 plus shipping for one.

I decided to go to this game store that sold both old and new games and sure enough they had one. It was a bit broken, the only issue visually being the plastic flap broken on one side. They gave it to me for free though so I took it home and we got it working.

Only question is how does the moon jump work exactly? We put in the code for super Mario bros moon jumping while standing and it worked, but sometimes Mario would launch himself to the moon and other times just jump normally but floatier.

Also is it common for them to want to stay inside the console? If so that’s fine, it makes sense and it’s actually easier to swap games out that way I guess.
