Ever try restoring the texture of plastic?
Post Body

I messed up trying to remove a nasty pen mark on the front bezel of a Compaq 486, and inadvertently rubbed the "orange peel" texture off the plastic so that it is now smooth (sticks out like a sore thumb).

Anyone know of a way to restore the texture of plastic, or has anyone tried this technique I found on youtube? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85FYd9TjLSI

p.s. also wonder if this technique or any other would restore a scuff mark or repaired crack.

Thanks!
