Someone from the subreddit mentioned in the title told me to post here about my problem, so here is that post verbatim.
I just acquired this laptop and encountered the following POST beep code when turning it on:
1-3-3-1
It seems to correspond with none of the POST beep codes indicated in the computer's service manual(The section on POST beep codes is Chapter 3-1).
I'm guessing it may be a motherboard problem; I believe it should boot fine otherwise as though it came with no RAM sticks installed, there is 16 MB soldered to the motherboard. Much to my dismay, it does not POST afterwards.
Since I'm re-posting this, I figure I can elaborate on some more details that I overlooked prior. The power button blinks green when the system is turned off and it is possible that the system intentionally does not POST if no RAM sticks are installed.
In addition, here is some footage of the POST code in question.
Edit: Going to try out /u/WalkingOnFire's solution. It may take a while to get the RAM modules though.
Edit #2: Attempted to disassemble the computer to get the the CMOS battery, but ran into some problems prying the case off. It still turns on, but I don't think I'll be able to salvage the case.
