Alternatives to 401k/ Roth IRA

Im a part time nanny, and also sell exclusive content, that being said a Roth IRA/ 401k isn’t something I think I have access to? Im turning 28 this year and have a good-ish chunk saved. I’d like to put about 10k into something, let it grow, and not touch it until im ready to retire. Unfortunately I don’t have active parents in my life and was never really taught about retirement plans. I’d love if y’all could share some insight and give suggestions on what I could use to build a retirement plan. Thanks !!
